Therefore, your project or timeline resolution should be “1920 x 817” for a 2.35 cinematic look. Then divide your width by 2.35 to get the height, which is, 1920 / 2.35 = 817. If your footage was shot in Full HD -> 1920 x 1080. Hence your project or timeline resolution should be “3840 x 1634” to achieve 2.35 look. So divide 2.35 from width of your footage (3840) to get the height.
